Younger Optics Europe announces the launch of Transitions® Drivewear® 1.67 high index lenses. This is a great addition to Transitions Drivewear lens portfolio which already includes 1.50, Trivex and Polycarbonate materials. The addition of Transitions Drivewear 1.67 will make it possible to offer thinner and lighter lenses, expand the prescription range and make it more aesthetically appealing particularly to clients with higher prescriptions.
Transitions Drivewear ophthalmic lenses are one of the most unique products in the industry, designed to improve the vision of people who require vision correction during the day- time driving. They contain unique double photochromic technology from Transitions® and the most advanced Nupolar® polarized film matrix. The combination of two technologies allows Transitions Drivewear to adapt the light absorption inside the car and outdoors according to the lighting conditions changes and eliminate blinding glare off the car windshield.
